Job description

We’re a national law firm with a local reach. Our legal experts are here for you. Whether it’s personal or business, we understand that everyone’s situation is different. But we’re more than just a law firm – we’re a team of people working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs. Working here you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment.

We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things and make a real difference to our clients and communities.

We're always looking to support our colleagues to work in a way that works best for them and everyone else, including our clients, the business and the regulators. Please speak to a member of our Recruitment and Onboarding team for more information.

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

The Marketing Operations Specialist will support the Head of Marketing Operations in leading the operational aspects of the Business Development and Marketing team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless coordination, efficient processes, and optimal performance across all marketing functions.

You will play a key role in connecting our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy with actionable data insights, ensuring that marketing activity is measurable, efficient, and compliant with GDPR and data privacy best practices.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and build from the ground up — designing workflows, automation, and integrations that enhance user experiences and drive qualified leads to support our lawyers in identifying and nurturing future clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Head of Marketing Operations in developing and refining marketing processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and performance tracking
  • Build and manage end-to-end workflows that connect marketing activity with business development outcomes
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth campaign execution, accurate reporting, and consistent use of marketing systems and data
  • Play a key role in maintaining and optimizing themarketing technology stack, which includes a new website platform built on Sitecore Cloud, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Dotdigital for marketing automation and email campaigns
  • Help connect GTM strategy with performance insights by creating dashboards and reports that track marketing KPIs, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness
  • Maintain data quality and hygiene within Dynamics and other marketing systems to support accurate reporting
  • Provide insights that inform marketing and business development decisions, ensuring alignment with firm-wide strategic goals
  • Ensure all marketing and data processes adhere toGDPR and relevant data privacy regulations and educate internal stakeholders on data best practices and compliance obligations
About You

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, including CRM, CMS, and marketing automation platforms
  • Hands-on experience with (or strong interest in learning) Sitecore Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Dotdigital (or similar systems)
  • Proven ability to streamline workflows, manage integrations, and enhance lead management processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking
  • Knowledge of data privacy and GDPR compliance as it relates to marketing and client engagement
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach

Mindset & Attributes:

  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys creating structure, process, and clarity
  • Comfortable working in a newly established role where you can shape systems and influence best practices
  • Hands-on and adaptable, with the ability to manage both technical and strategic tasks
  • Curious, data-driven, and passionate about connecting marketing technology with real business outcomes
Our Benefits - What We Can Offer You
  • 25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.
  • Generous and flexible pension schemes.
  • Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid)
  • Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services.

We also offer a wide range of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace and to make sure you’re fully supported. This includes our Flexible by Choice programme which gives our colleagues more choice over a hybrid way of working subject to role, team and client requirements.

We have been ranked in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing for Large Organisations for 2024!

Our responsible business programmes are fundamental to who we are and our purpose. We’re committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish, and we have established a number of inclusion network groups across our business to support this aim.
