Job Description

This role is based in our 5 Howick place office.

As the Marketing Operations & Projects Lead, your role is crucial in ensuring that LIONS achieves brand, business, and product objectives and revenue targets.

This keyobjectiveis deliveredpredominantly through(i) themaintenanceof a single workflow system across the marketing department, (ii) resourcing across teamsand (iii)marketingprojectmanagementsupportacrossall LIONS pillars.

Success in the role is realised in achieving operational excellence across all Divisional pillars, in enabling members of the marketing department,and therefore the business,to hitobjectives.

Key accountabilities:
  • Operational excellence:Own and manage the single workflow system across the LIONSmarketing department, working to ensure consistenthigh levelsof usage and efficiencies in its use through a weekly check of projects & tasks,best practiceand onboarding.Set clearKPIs to measure success,leveragingthe platform'sintelligence tounderstandperformance on ourjourney to excellence.
  • Operational excellence:Serve as thelynchpinbetween the LIONS marketing department, building and managing best practice ways of working, and connecting other teams that work with the department, inclusive of Digital Marketing, Studios, Data & Insight.
  • Data management and contact strategy:Partner with marketing leadership to deliver a data management and contact strategy to ensure all data is wellmaintainedand that engagement and customer satisfaction rates are high. Work closely with thedata&insight team to ensure that prospect data management processes ladder into customer data management processes, ensuringhigh levelsof data quality.Enable the product marketing team’s rigorous segmentation work, connecting the strategy with a clear path to execution with the Digital Marketing team.
  • Data growth and TAM ownership:Own Total Addressable Market reporting – providing regular updates on growth and working with the marketing department to ensure we deliver audience growthprogrammesas necessary.
  • Project management:Develop best practice guidanceforall marketers in campaign projectmanagement. Workclosely with the Marketing Projects Coordinator,ownand delivergo faster project initiatives, supporting on achievement of businessobjectives, keeping teams on track,maintainingmomentumand connecting teams to achieve collective goals.
  • Marketingdepartmentresourcing:Own marketingdepartmentresourcing, spotting resource constraints early and addressingquickly and within budgetto enable marketing programmes to run on time and on brief. This will include building andmaintaininga freelancer databasefor use across the Marketing department.
  • Marketing effectiveness measurement and reporting.Supportmarketing effectiveness analysis and reporting, includingweekly updates back to business leadership,quarterly deep‑dives and ad‑hoc campaignreportingasnecessary.

Qualifications

  • Process‑driven.You’re able to evidencetimes whenyou’vegrasped a complex situation, demystified it, and built processes tosystemise productivity.
  • Data‑fluency.You’reenergised by the prospect of sifting through – and bringing order to – large audience datasets.
  • Experience with team workflow and project management software.You’rewell versed in working with systems like Monday.com, Trello or Asana. You have evidence of innovating clear ways of working, deliveringefficiencieswith project management tools anddriving user adoption for success.
  • Intra‑department experience.You are experienced in working cross‑function and cross‑department, bringing teams together and influencing towards a common goal.
  • Committed to professional development.You have completed at least one professional development certification relating to project management, marketing operations or similar.
