Beyond their acumen, team members are collaborative and conscientious, bringing a healthy sense of drive and purpose to each interaction and to all aspects of their work.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a London Marketing Manager with regional responsibilities. The role reports to the Regional Head of Marketing and manages the London-based Marketing team. The successful candidate will work with the partners and other senior stakeholders across these offices to identify key priorities and then lead the London-based marketing team in delivering a programme of marketing initiatives utilising a broad range of tactics. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Day-to-day management of a team of marketing and events professionals
  • Understanding the objectives of each office and its practice groups, and proactively developing and delivering initiatives and activities designed to meet them
  • Ensuring marketing activities and initiatives are joined up and coordinated with corresponding business development plans
  • Evaluating the return on investment for key marketing campaigns, and adapting future activities accordingly
  • Identify and pursue new channels (both internal and external) of communications to engage key audiences in an effort to support the firm's overall goals
  • Research and draft internal and external announcements
  • Build and maintain relationships with editorial and commercial contacts in key legal and trade publications
  • Identifying, evaluating and overseeing each office's corporate associations and sponsorships activity, ensuring they are in line with strategic objectives
  • Working closely with our Digital & Creative Services team to deliver engaging content
  • The production and maintenance of necessary marketing collateral and other printed and digital materials
  • Feeding in opportunities arising from marketing activities and campaigns into our BD/CRM plans
  • Ensuring our events are not only "best-in-class" but also in support of our strategic objectives
  • Working closely with peers in other jurisdictions to ensure appropriate coordination and collaboration as well as best practice and continuous development in our marketing activities
  • Management of each office's marketing budget
  • Working with others within the team on key projects
EXPERIENCEWhat You BringIn addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
  • A professional qualification in a Business or Marketing related field is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience (preferably in professional, B2B or financial services)
  • Engage credibly with all members of the organisation with high level of enthusiasm and ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to provide both strategic and operational support when needed
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle a consistent and varied workload is essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle a number of on-going projects with deadlines and budgets while also maintaining high quality delivery
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to apply logic and creativity to problem solving, ideally from experience gained in a professional services environment
  • Strong relationship skills and the capability to understand and quickly respond to the needs of senior stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork skills to work alongside and build relationships with the Marketing team both locally and globally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong project management experience with extensive and complex review processes
