A maritime civil engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking a Maritime Civil Engineer. This role offers hands-on project exposure and the opportunity to develop technical expertise and gain ICE Chartership support. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, strong communication skills, and knowledge of AutoCAD. The position promises real responsibilities and progression in a growing team.
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 3 days discretionary Christmas shutdown, Pension Contributions, Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, ICE Chartership Support
This is the ideal role for someone who wants to accelerate their career in maritime civil engineering — real responsibility, hands‑on project exposure, and direct support from experienced senior engineers.
TILT Engineering & Design is a fast‑growing maritime civil engineering consultancy working on marina, harbour, coastal and waterfront infrastructure across the UK and internationally. We’re looking for a driven engineer who wants to build deep technical expertise, gain chartership, and take ownership of meaningful project work from day one.
If you’re ambitious, practical, and ready for a role where you’ll learn fast — you’ll fit well here.
As a Maritime Civil Engineer at TILT, you’ll work across a wide variety of coastal and marine projects, supporting design, analysis, and project delivery from concept through to construction. You’ll take ownership of your own work packages, contribute to technical solutions, and gain hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with your seniors who will guide, mentor, and help you develop your technical skills, judgment, and confidence. This is a role where you’ll learn fast, take on real responsibility early, and play a key part in delivering practical, innovative engineering solutions for our clients.
You don’t need to be perfect — but you do need to be eager to grow.
Because you want more than a job — you want influence.
Here, you won’t be siloed. You’ll be involved in design, strategy, client development, site work, and shaping our growth. You’ll build systems, improve processes, and help us develop the next generation of engineers.
You’ll make the role your own, and we’ll give you the autonomy to do it.
This is not a box‑ticking role. You’ll become a key part of the team and see all sides of maritime engineering — design, site work, client interaction, and delivery.
Real progression with the freedom to shape your future role.
If you want a role where you’ll learn quickly, get exposure to serious engineering challenges, and contribute to a growing consultancy, we’d love to hear from you.
