A precision engineering company in the East Midlands is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to manage customer projects, create manufacturing methods, and ensure best practices in a technical role. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, possess strong inter-personal skills, and be competent in Microsoft Office. This role offers a salary of up to £50,000, with competitive benefits including 33 days holiday and a pension scheme.
We now require an additional Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components.
You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes also.
Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: Up to £50000
Hours: Monday to Thursday starting between 7am and 8am and finishing between 4pm and 5pm. Fridays finish at 12:00 midday.
Contracted hours: 39 per week
Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from customer enquiry, quotations to writing manufacturing methods/SOPs and delivery to the customer.
You will create manufacturing route cards to ensure the best methods to manufacture liaising with internal departments whilst also managing any external resources required for the project.
