Job summary

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Leeds. Responsibilities include maintaining production machinery, conducting troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds certification in Electrical Engineering and strong analytical skills, along with experience in a manufacturing setting. This is a full-time, permanent position with a continental shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Time served Electrical engineer or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and PLC fault finding.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to minimise downtime.
• Communicate unscheduled downtime and offer solutions.
• Conduct electrical tests and diagnostic checks.
