Responsibilities
  • Review artist payments on a bi-weekly basis to ensure all steps from the accounts team have been followed correctly while flagging, explaining and working through with the team any issues that have occurred
  • Review the FEU reconciliation and submissions ensuring that the amount of taxes deducted from the artist and paid to HMRC is correct, while ensuring the company is up to date and compliant with all FEU related requirements.
  • Review client team reports including but not limited to exchange rates, agent task list reports, Sage & CRM unallocated reports to ensure the team are completing tasks are working efficiently. The chosen candidate will be expected to raise any issues / queries they find with the team to ensure that any issues are being resolved correctly.
  • Ensuring that the credit control function is working efficiently and effectively to make sure that funds are being chased in line with the agreed payment terms while also making sure that the team are making sure the agents have accurate and up to date information
  • Ensuring that the Festival Finance process is working efficiently and effectively, liaising with all relevant stakeholders to allow the company to be aware of potentially problematic festivals and ensuring company wide, we have the correct and up to date information.
  • Withholding Tax and Certificate of Tax Residency Applications
  • Month-End Client Accounting Reconciliations including client ledgers and unbilled AR
  • Review all current client accounting procedures and processes, suggesting improvements to ensure we keep providing the best service possible to the clients
  • Assist senior client accounts with the management of their team, including assisting the team during busiest periods and with training.
Qualifications

The role will suit somebody with an eye for detail. A diligent and analytical approach is a must. Experience in the Music and/or agency world would be a distinct advantage. An audit background (either external or internal) would also be very beneficial. Experience using Sage would also be advantageous.
