Job description

Job title: Management Accountant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Management Accountant to work at a good College in Hull, starting as soon as possible and lasting until March 31st 2026 in the first instance. The salary will be between 41,699 to 45,558 per year, scaled to a daily rate. Working hours will be between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, 5 days per week.

This role will involve supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in providing advice, guidance and support to the budget managers. You will complete financial information requests and provide decision support including financial evaluations. You will provide forecasting and budget preparation. There is a new finance system at the college and you will assist with tasks relevant to this.

Located in Hull, the college is easily accessible from almost all parts of Hull via Bus, and has an onsite car park for candidates who drive. There is also a large car park nearby that is low cost and can be reimbursed in wages.

• Qualified to degree level/relevant qualifications
• ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with significant practical experience
• Experience of successful budget and financial management
• Understanding of quality assurance policies and procedures
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
