Job description

We are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a growing, privately owned business within the construction sector. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in supporting the finance function, delivering accurate and timely management accounts, and providing meaningful analysis to help guide decision-making.

About the role

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts

• Job costing and margin analysis across projects

• Supporting operational teams with financial insight and performance reporting

• Cashflow monitoring and working capital management

• Assisting with process improvements and systems development

• Supporting year-end accounts and external audit requirements

About you

• QBE (qualified by experience) or Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar)

• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering is highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of management accounting principles

• Excellent Excel and systems skills

• Confident communicator able to work closely with non-finance colleagues

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
