Location: Presteigne or Newbury

Employment: Full time, 39 hours per week

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 17:00pm, Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

About you

Do you have experience of working in lean manufacturing environment and looking to use your knowledge and skillset to support the financial controller?

Responsibilities

This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and the main duties will initially include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts in accordance with US GAAP principles including journals, reconciliations, overhead analysis.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances.
• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasting.
• Production of quarterly VAT Returns
• Supporting the site Financial Controller.
• Providing backup and support to finance team members

Qualifications

• CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing advantageous.
• Excellent organisational ability including time management and prioritising tasks.
• Accurate with good attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Have excellent IT skills, with strong Excel skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to work within a fast paced, ever-changing business.
