Management Accountant

£42,500 - £52,500 per annum

The Company

The McGinnis Group is one of Northern Ireland’s most successful property developers and home builders. Established in 1978, this family-owned business has constructed some of the most prestigious residential developments in the UK. It has also delivered major regeneration projects for government, education and retail in Northern Ireland.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant in the company’s head office. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective operation of the finance and accounting functions across the group.

Key responsibilities
  • Accurate processing of accounting transactions.
  • Delivery of management reports.
  • Assisting in filing of statutory reports, including annual accounts.
Additional responsibilities
  • Fulfilling treasury management activities as required.
  • Contributing to special projects as directed.
The Person

You will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA). Whilst a minimum of 3-years post qualification experience would be desirable, we will also consider capable and committed newly-qualified candidates. You will possess the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team. You will thrive in an environment that promotes flexibility and initiative. You will also be comfortable in communicating effectively at both site and board level.

A competitive salary is on offer for the right candidate. The role is based in the company’s head office in L/Derry (with 2pm finish on Fridays).
