Job Description

This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office.

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will bring the ability to self-review with a thorough attention to detail, have intermediate excel skills and a solid understanding of debits and credits, experience of both using/posting journals and analysing + manipulating data. Experience within a fast paced environment is a plus, bringing the right mindset to learn and grow with the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the internal team and external outsourced team in India to meet tight month end deadlines
  • Business partnering with all Event budget holders and assist with cost control, forecasting and annual budgets
  • Analysis and reporting on costs, depreciation, expenses and analysis on accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow responsibility
  • Preparation of management commentary, including Board Reporting packs
  • Preparation of monthly sales commission and business partnering with Commercial Lead to help improve incentive scheme and reporting
  • Capex project reporting
  • Assisting with annual reporting and liaising with auditors
  • Support preparation of cash flow reporting
  • Support to Divisions Risk & Controls framework. Analyse and report on key risks & mitigations and develop / implement the organization's compliance and control framework
  • Ensure completion of control attestations on behalf of Marketing
  • Complete Marketing monthly balance sheet reporting with specific focus on working capital performance, ensuring identification of risks and opportunities.

  • Newly Qualified Accountant
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in fast paced business environment, working to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Salesforce, HFM and Hyperion an advantage
  • Analytical thinking – ability to manage, simplify, interpret and analyse large amount of data
  • Proven ability to perform self-review with a thorough attention to detail
