Management Accountant
Location: Banbury
Salary: £40,000-£45,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned motorsport and automotive restoration specialist who are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive accounting professional to work in a dynamic, high-performance environment, supporting decision-making across a range of exciting projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal deadlines.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and commentary.
  • Monitor project costs, margins and overheads, providing insight to operational and commercial teams.
  • Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Provide timely reporting to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities and performance trends.
  • Contribute to process improvements, ensuring finance supports the wider goals of the motorsport and restoration business.
About You
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, motorsport or similarly project-driven environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.
  • Proactive, organised and able to adapt to the demands of a fast-paced industry.
