A National Health Service provider is seeking a qualified Female Mammographer to join their breast imaging team in Whitehaven. This role requires HCPC registration and involves providing screening services and patient care in a multi-disciplinary environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in breast imaging and excellent communication skills. This position offers a salary of £38,682 to £46,580 per annum pro rata along with benefits including NHS discounts and a generous holiday scheme.

Position: Mammographer Band 6, 37.5 hours based at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven.
The North Cumbria Breast Imaging Unit offers a wide range of high-quality services for all patients with breast problems. It is also the centre for the North Cumbria Breast Screening Programme. All care is patient-centred and is delivered within a supportive environment by a team of experts, who are all specialists within their own field.
We are a friendly department based across two sites making the most of the skills of both Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners by encouraging role development and advanced practice having adopted the four-tier structure with Consultant Mammographers and Advanced Practitioners in post.
We are looking for a qualified Female* Mammographer to join our breast imaging team. The Post holder will be based at West Cumberland Hospital Whitehaven but will be expected to travel Cumberland Infirmary if required.
