Overview

Job Title: Maintenance Surveyor
Ref: N Warwickshire 5276842
Pay rate: £18.26 per hour PAYE
Role length: Anticipated 3 months

The role: We are currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to oversee contractors delivering major improvement schemes across the housing stock. These works may include, but are not limited to, roofing, kitchen replacements, fire door installations, external wall insulation, and window replacements. In order to carry out this role, you will need to be qualified and experienced and able to demonstrate technical acumen and knowledge as well as having previous experience of managing contractors and supporting tenants through extensive works programmes. Previous employment in a social housing environment will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and monitoring contractors on site to ensure works are completed to the required standards, on time and within budget
  • Supporting tenants through the delivery of extensive improvement programmes, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption
  • Providing technical advice and guidance throughout all stages of project delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety regulations, and internal policies
What the client is looking for
  • Relevant qualifications and strong technical knowledge in building surveying or a related discipline
  • Proven experience of managing contractors on site, ideally delivering large-scale improvement works
  • Previous experience of supporting tenants through extensive works programmes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
