Overview

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will work with the Maintenance Manager to inspire and motivate colleagues, ensuring that all guests have memorable experiences with us. You will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance tasks and general Health and Safety requirements, and you will lead a vibrant team to exceed our guests' expectations. We look after our colleagues as well as our guests, and Leonardo community involvement is part of being on our team. Our Supervisors support team members and Heads of Department every day, with opportunities for development through programmes such as the "NEW Team Coach" workshop, "Guest Care" training, and, when appropriate, the "Insights Trainee Manager Programme" to prepare you for management as a Duty Manager. These programmes develop knowledge and practical training for a clear progression within Leonardo Hotels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and general Health and Safety requirements
• Inspire and lead a team to exceed guest expectations
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and other departments to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Have proven experience in a similar role within Hospitality
• Have proven ability in one or more of the following skills: electrical, plumbing, carpentry
• Be a great communicator: you’ll work with other departments within the hotel to ensure facilities meet the high Leonardo standard
• Motivate the team and coach new team members
