Overview

Stride Recruitment are excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our long-standing Building Service Provider Clients in Swindon, Wiltshire with a Mechanical or Plumbing background in maintenance.

Main Accountabilities

• To complete PPM and remedial work.
• To have a can do approach to your work ethos.
• Be able to work within a small maintenance team, consisting of a mechanical & electrical shift engineers and a semi-skilled shift engineer (plus a full day team of engineering and support staff).

What you will need for the role

• Skills, Knowledge and Competencies required.
• Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of systems required, knowledge of building maintenance preferred, but not essential.
• Must be fully qualified in Mechanical with experience of Commercial / Hospital buildings.
• Must be fully qualified Mechanical engineer or Plumber
• City and Guilds.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• The ability to multi-task and be methodical.
• A pro-active approach to problem solving.

Temporary - Permanent or Long Term contract.
