Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Plumber in Boston. The role involves routine maintenance and fault identification in a commercial environment. Candidates ideally should have NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, but level 2 may be considered. Working at height and on weekends is necessary. Salary information is available on inquiry.

Qualifications

• Legionella Control (L8) desirable, but training provided.
• Experience in a commercial environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Commercial Maintenance Plumber – Boston – MOJ – Call for salary.

There will be a need to work weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week (across 7 days where a weekend shift pattern is in place).

Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance, however we may consider applications if you have NVQ level 2.

In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have Legionella Control (L8) and experience in a commercial environment to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as they will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.

Routine and non-routine maintenance.

Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment.

Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment.

Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.

Mains water supply repairs.

Minimise wastage and continually improve processes.

Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant.

This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.
