A leading service provider in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to ensure all requested repairs are carried out to required standards and within SLA deadlines. This role involves traveling within the region and occasionally across the UK. An ideal candidate should have maintenance experience and a valid UK driver's license. This position offers flexible working hours and benefits including pension scheme and tools provided.
Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation. As the Maintenance Operative your role is key in ensuring all requested repairs, be that reactive or proactive and pre planned (via manager), are carried out to the required standard and within our SLA deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity covering Cheshire for an individual with previous maintenance experience within a field relating to joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating etc. You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage your own workflow as well as working within a team when necessary. As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and that of all users of the property during, and after works have been undertaken and completed. As part of your role, you will be required to purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only. Vehicles provided by the company will be inspected regularly by employees and kept in a professional and clean condition. Flexible Working pattern.
