A leading service provider is looking for a Maintenance Operative in Leicester to handle repairs and installations, including fire doors and kitchens. The role demands previous maintenance experience and a valid UK driving license. You will work both independently and in a team while maintaining health & safety standards. As the Maintenance Operative, your role is key in ensuring all requested repairs, whether reactive, proactive, or pre-planned (via manager), are carried out to the required standard and within our SLA deadlines. You will be required to fit fire doors and frames, complete fitted kitchens, and install bathrooms, including all plumbing and pipework.
This is an exciting opportunity covering Birmingham for an individual with previous maintenance experience in a field related to joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating, etc. You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage your own workflow as well as work within a team when necessary.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the health & safety of yourself and all users of the property during and after works have been undertaken and completed.
As part of your role, you will be required to purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only. Vehicles provided by the company will be inspected regularly and maintained in a professional and clean condition.
