Valerian Court Care Home, located in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is a modern, purpose-built home offering exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 70 residents.
We are now looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Manager to ensure our home and grounds are kept to the highest standard. Your work will directly contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our home. From carrying out repairs and inspections to supporting larger projects and keeping our outdoor spaces tidy, your work will ensure our facilities are always safe, functional, and well-presented.
In this hands-on role, you will carry out general repairs, routine checks, and planned maintenance tasks across the building and grounds. You will ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery are properly maintained and stored, and that health and safety standards are always met. You’ll be responsible for safety checks such as fire alarms, assist with installations, and support refurbishment or improvement projects as needed. Most importantly, you’ll take pride in maintaining a care home environment where residents feel at home.
