HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Near Cambridge | Permanent | Days-Based

Salary: £42,000-£46,000 + pension + bonus
Total package: £57,000+ per annum

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Engineer to support a large biotech and life sciences campus just outside Cambridge.

You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC and mechanical plant in a well‑managed, single‑site environment.

Responsibilities
  • PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers)
  • Fault diagnosis and repair
  • Use of BMS (Trend preferred) to optimise performance
  • Contractor supervision
  • Compliance with health & safety standards
  • Participation in an on‑call rota
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • HVAC and mechanical plant experience
  • BMS knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
