Are you a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar who has recently completed an NVQ/Apprenticeship or is leaving the forces looking for a role that offers plenty of training, a stable shift pattern and achievable career progression opportunities?

The company is a well‑established manufacturer that supplies a wide range of industries. They invest heavily in industry‑leading training to ensure a great culture and staff retention, and expect to grow revenue by 25 % in the coming years.

In this role you will work alongside a team of 8–10 Maintenance Engineers, partnering with one engineer on a split shift pattern Monday to Friday (6:30 am‑2 pm and 12:00 pm‑8 pm). The shift rotates weekly, with overtime available outside these hours and on weekends. The role primarily involves planned preventive maintenance but will also require participation in a call‑out rota (one week in three) with a call‑out bonus and overtime pay for all hours worked.

The Role:
  • PPM & reactive maintenance on plastic manufacturing machinery
  • Working on gearboxes, servos, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
  • Full training on highly specialised machinery
  • Overtime paid at 1.5×, 6–10 hours available each week
  • Weekly shift rotation: Week 1 6:30 am‑2:30 pm, Week 2 12:00 pm‑8:00 pm

  • Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar
  • Ex‑forces / NVQ / BTEC or similar qualification in Maintenance/Engineering
