Job description
Overview

CK Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join a global animal health company on a contract basis for 12 months.

Responsibilities
  • Implement corrective and preventive maintenance of all mechanical/electrical equipment on site and ensure compliance with HSE, biosecurity, and appropriate GMP standards to enable reliable and safe operation of the manufacturing facility.
  • Perform electrical maintenance in a pharmaceutical environment, including installing/repairing lamps, ring final circuits, identifying faults in controls systems, and understanding motor control circuits.
  • Conduct effective fault finding and problem solving on mechanical/electrical systems to minimise business impact.
  • Identify and implement improvements in mechanical/electrical standards and efficiencies on the site following site procedures.
  • Work as part of the maintenance team to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard, sharing skills and expertise with team members to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance service.
Background / Qualifications
  • Recognised training to City & Guilds standard Electrical.
  • C&G Inspection & Testing (preferred).
  • Fully conversant with the 18th Edition Electrical regulations.
  • Ability to fault find via control panels and PLCs, wiring diagrams and carry out fault finding diagnosis.
  • Demonstrable experience in electrical/mechanical installation and fault finding.
  • Experience in writing up a root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment issues using problem solving tools and techniques (preferred).

Salary

£161.48 per day PAYE
