Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Location: Mobile, Redcar & Ingleby Barwick

Contract: Full time, permanent. Hours: 38.75 hours per week. Core hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, with on-call rota covering 24/7/365.

As a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical, you’ll be part of a team doing incredible things for ourselves, our partners, and a sustainable future.

What you’ll do:

  • Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Reactive repairs to all types of lighting and power systems.
  • Service and repair of motors, pumps, fan coil units, HVAC control panels.
  • Competent in BMS control systems.
  • Support maintenance objectives respecting resident dignity and privacy.
  • Operate safely, adhering to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Infection Control, Waste Disposal.
  • Maintain asset histories, records, and helpdesk reports, informing relevant personnel of follow-up actions.
  • Participate in on-call rota for facilities coverage.
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly.
  • Support other RFM personnel in delivering contracted services.

About you:

  • Qualified Electrician with installation and maintenance experience.
  • Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • AM2 Practical Skills Assessment.
  • City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing.
  • HVAC control systems experience (desirable).
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.

The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS check with child barred list.
