Job description

Maintenance Engineer.

Location: Southall, West London.

Salary: £42,000 p/a (+ Bonus, Benefits).

Hours: Monday to Friday, days.

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established site in Southall. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of a range of building and engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine planned maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Responding to breakdowns and resolving faults in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives on site.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting any issues to the relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within a facilities, estates or manufacturing environment.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Package:

  • £42K.
