Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Leeds, West Yorkshire – £47,000

Quirky but well loved 12 hour shift pattern on a 28 day rotation. 10 days off, working 12 out of the other 18. Benefits include private health, enhanced pension, extensive training, and free products.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on high‑volume manufacturing equipment, including conveyors and packaging machines.
• Operate in a predominantly reactive role with a plan to increase proactive/preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Work as part of a busy team of around 40 in a fast-moving consumer products environment.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification (minimum), electrically biased.
• Several years of relevant maintenance experience; the role is experience‑driven due to the nature of the operation.

Shift Pattern & Location

Based in Leeds; 12-hour shifts on a 28-day rotation (10 days off; 12 of the 18 days worked).
