We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated engineer to work as part of a close-knit maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a mix of reactive and planned maintenance tasks across our busy production site.

You’ll liaise with departments throughout the business and play a key role in ensuring our plant and machinery operate efficiently and safely. On-the-job training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to fault reports regarding plant and machinery.
  • Undertake planned maintenance tasks in line with the preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Support and complete tasks related to maintenance projects.
  • Communicate effectively with Production Management regarding the status of ongoing repairs.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems.

Experience & Skills

  • Higher education qualification in an electrical discipline (essential).
  • Apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
  • Experience in plastics production (desirable).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills across departments.
  • Effective electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused approach.
