Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance across the production site.
  • Run the PPM schedule and log all maintenance activities.
  • Respond to breakdowns and implement long-term fixes.
  • Complete statutory inspections and close actions.
  • Maintain site services including HVAC and lighting.
  • Ensure the site is tidy, safe, and audit-ready.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Bury. This is a full time, permanent role, working days are Monday – Thursday.

You’ll be the main engineer for keeping machinery, services and the building safe and running smoothly.

About You
  • Strong mechanical and / or electrical fault-finding skills
  • Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Confidence reading engineering drawings and working on drives, motors, pneumatics or hydraulics
  • Experience planning and delivering PPMYou’ll be in commutable distance to Bury
  • An element of flexibility is required for call outs
