A massive opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join a global company based in Broomfleet. With an annual turnover of £3.5 billion my client is the world market leader in its sector. They have over 200 plants worldwide in over 30 different countries, including 16 in the UK.

Duties of the Maintenance Planner include:

  • Days (08:00 – 16:30)
  • Control and develop CMMS.
  • Involved with rollout of mobile devices to maintenance staff.
  • Deal with contractors and paperwork involved.

Maintenance Planner Requirements include:

  • Experience of running a CMMS system.
  • Legal compliance understanding.
  • Good health and safety knowledge.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Ideally qualified mechanical or electrical engineering.

This Maintenance Planner position is commutable from: Broomfleet, Newport, Elloughton, Goole, North Cave, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for skilled Maintenance Electricians and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our clients' teams in various locations across the UK.

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Responding to issues and breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Carrying out routine testing and inspections of electrical systems and portable equipment
  • Using preventative maintenance systems to reduce unplanned breakdowns
  • Assisting the Engineering Manager with ongoing and new projects
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes
  • Maintaining safe working practices in line with Health & Safety procedures

Maintenance Electrician Requirements:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of AC and DC drives
  • Ability to work on PLC systems preferred
  • Willingness to cover overtime, shutdown work, and call-outs when required
  • Some mechanical experience would be beneficial

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:

  • Monday – Friday. (8am – 4pm / 6am – 2pm / 10pm – 6am / 2pm – 10pm) – 4-week rotation.
  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
