Overview

Job Title: Machine Operator
Department: Manufacturing
Location: Andover
Contract Type: 12-Week Temp to Perm
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
• Total: 38.5 hours per week
• Flexibility for additional hours may be required, in line with Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various press machines
• Use measuring equipment such as verniers and height gauges to ensure accuracy
• Follow job-specific procedures and engineering drawings in line with company policies
• Work cross-functionally with other departments
• Maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the production process

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (preferred)
• Good numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and concentration
• Ability to problem solve and follow production schedules accurately
• A flexible and proactive attitude, with a team-first mindset
