Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Dundee

Pay: £12.21, increases after training period

Shifts: day and night shift on a rotational basis - weekend work included, shift allowances applicable for this

Contract: Ongoing, permanent opportunities will be offered to the correct candidates

Main Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and company procedures
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Set up, operate, and monitor factory machinery
• Check materials and finished products for quality issues
• Load and unload materials to and from machines as required
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and report faults
• Record production information accuratelyWork with the wider team to keep production running smoothly
• Help train new team members when needed

Requirements

• Due to shift timings, it is essential that applicants can drive
• Willingness to learn and develop with an ever growing company
• Able to commit to the shift patterns on offer
• Able to provide a minimum of 2 references
• No experience is necessary for this position, however similar experience is beneficial
