Machine Maintenance Technician I - Direct-Hire Opportunity!
THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking skilled Machine Maintenance Technicians (Level I) to join our client's team, which is a well-established Medical Device company in Plymouth, MN, and will be part of their Maintenance team.
This critical role is responsible for supporting production uptime by performing general machine maintenance, equipment repairs, and minor facilities work across multiple local sites in a 24/7 cleanroom and office environment. While prior experience in Machine Maintenance is ideal, this Level I opportunity is open to technicians with a 2-year technical degree or 2+ years of general machine maintenance background.

Job Details:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding equipment and other production machinery
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Minimize production downtime by quickly addressing equipment issues
• Maintain tools and documentation related to maintenance tasks
• Occasionally assist with minor facility maintenance
• Work in a cleanroom environment (gowning required; some equipment is outside the cleanroom)
• Support 3-4 buildings within a 10-mile radius
• Participate in on-call phone support rotation for emergency issues
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a respectful, team-focused culture
Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or approved GED
• 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2+ years' experience demonstrating a high mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and hydraulic systems
• Comfortable working in cleanroom environments (gowning required)
• Must be able to work in a collaborative / safety safety-conscious environment. "Safety First"
• Must hold a valid state driver's license.
• On-Call Expectation - If not able to be onsite, must be able to do phone support for off-hours issues (e.G., power outages, rooftop units); physical response rarely required
