A leading contract packing company based just outside of King's Lynn is seeking a Machine & Maintenance Operative to join their friendly team. This ongoing contract could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Responsibilities include assisting with setup for production lines, carrying out preventive maintenance on machinery, and supporting supervisors. Competitive salary dependent on experience and skills, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7am to 6pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and operation of machinery.
• Ability to assist in various duties as required.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Assist with daily setup of production lines and machines.
• Carry out preventative maintenance for all machinery.
• Provide help to Supervisors and Line Leaders.
• Carry out general site and building maintenance.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of leading and prestigious contract packing and reworking company based just outside of Kings Lynn.

Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Machine & Maintenance Operative to join their friendly team as soon as possible.

This will be an ongoing contract leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday
• 7am – 6pm

Duties To Include

• Assisting with the daily set up of all production lines and machines
• Carrying out preventative maintenance requirements for all machinery
• Providing help and assistance to Supervisors and Line Leaders
• Carrying out general site and building maintenance as and when required
• Understand how all machinery operates
• Ensure that the engineering workshop and store is kept neat and tidy
• Be prepared to assist in any other duties that may be required
• Ensure the health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times
