Overview

Are you a Senior Mechanical Manager or Contracts Manager with a mechanical engineering background? Have you got experience of taking a contract from the cradle to the grave, being involved in winning and quoting works, delivery, and handover? If so, this could be a perfect opportunity for you to join a busy M&E Contractor in London.

Due to ongoing growth, this position has been created to free up the director to focus on other areas of the business.

M&E Contracts Manager Responsibilities

As an M&E Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to completion, which could be anything from commercial boiler replacements to complete fitout and installations for HVAC plant and equipment. The typical project will range from £500k up to £5m in mechanical value; applicants should therefore have proven experience as the overall mechanical lead on projects of this size.

  • M&E Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
  • Developing the business operations alongside the directors
  • Develop existing client project managers, staff, and subcontract supply chains
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as attention to detail
  • The ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Work closely with Senior Managers / Supervisors
  • Manage project cost procurement, analysis, appraisal, and budgeting.
  • Ensure programs are agreed upon with clients and contractors before project commencement, updated as needed, and key deadlines are met.
