Job summary

A leading water service provider in the UK is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their newly formed Central Services team. You will manage financial control and commercial assurance for various Mechanical & Electrical projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Finance and relevant commercial management experience. Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role with pursuit of professional body membership (RICS, CIOB, ICE).
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract management.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, manage cost variations, and report financially.
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with obligations.
  • Identify commercial risks and support dispute resolution.
