Job summary

A local primary school in Shrewsbury seeks a Lunchtime Activity Leader to supervise children during lunchtime. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and has experience working with children. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment and providing support to pupils. A first aid qualification is desirable. This is a temporary part-time role, offering £12.85 per hour for 10 hours a week, term time only, starting asap.

Lunchtime Activity Leader

10.00 hours per week, term time only.

Temporary to 31st August 2026, to cover a secondment. In the first instance required asap.

NJC Scale 1, currently £12.85 per hour

Required to work Monday to Friday - 11.30am - 1.30pm

The children, staff and Governors at Woodlands Primary School & Nursery are looking to appoint an energetic, patient, organised, and engaging person with a positive approach to managing behaviour, a sense of fun and some experience of working with children of all ages.

A first aid qualification is desirable or a willingness to undertake training. This is a busy school, and you would be working with a fantastic team and amazing children.
