Overview

I am looking for a PA to support me with getting in and out of bed, personal care, dressing and undressing. Some support with toileting will be required. I have a catheter in place; I would require you to change from the night bag to a leg bag during the day, and in the evening to change the leg bag over to a night bag. I would like someone with flexibility to cover shifts when the other PA is unavailable. I would like my PA to support me to access the community using my mobility scooter, to do things like shopping and going to a local café for a light lunch or a drink. I am beginning to lose confidence going out so someone who is confident and outgoing would be great to help boost my confidence and make me feel more comfortable.

Shifts

• Currently I have 1 PA who supports me 4 days a week for 6 hours a day and I am looking for a new PA to support me from 7am until 1pm on a Tuesday, and 7-10am on a Saturday and Sunday.
• I am also recruiting for a PA 7 days a week from 6:30pm - 7:30pm to assist me with getting into bed and getting comfortable and settled for the evening.

Responsibilities

• Supporting me to get in and out of bed.
• Personal care, dressing and undressing.
• Support with toileting.
• Drink and meal prep.
• Social and emotional support.
• Take me out to do some social activities, such as shopping and going to cafes for lunch/drink.
