Job Opportunity: Commercially-Focused GI Actuary

Are you a qualified, commercially-focused GI actuary with demonstrable experience interacting with underwriting and reserving teams?

Join a specialist, data-driven insurer in a key leadership role where you will spearhead the portfolio analytics strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading the design, delivery, and embedding of pricing and analytics visualization dashboards and tools to enhance underwriting performance.
2. Collaborating closely with underwriters, pricing actuaries, reserving teams, and IT to optimize processes, models, and analytics tools for efficient and dynamic business performance.

Requirements:

• Lloyd’s/London Market experience.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent technical, visualization, and communication skills.
• Good Data Governance experience.
• Experience in building pricing models and understanding reserving techniques.
• Proficiency with Python, hx (or other pricing platforms), Power BI, and/or Databricks is beneficial.
