Overview

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, detail-focused individual with a background in logistics to take on a varied and rewarding role.

What’s on offer?
  • Temporary to permanent role (permanent after 12 weeks)
  • 4-day working week: Monday to Wednesday 6:30am to 5pm & Thursday 6:30am to 3pm
  • 13 per hour, paid weekly during temp period (then monthly once permanent)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and check products ready for delivery
  • Arrange and book transport with third-party carriers
  • Manage dispatches, returns, and delivery paperwork
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and accurately
  • Update systems with delivery and stock information
  • Pack and label goods for safe shipment
  • Support with local deliveries, collections, and general yard/stock duties
  • Assisting in the factory where required
Qualifications
  • Previous logistics experience
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Safe loading and manual handling techniques
  • Route planning and vehicle selection knowledge

  • Health & Safety awareness
