Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Birmingham. In this role, you will monitor inventory levels, arrange shipments, liaise with suppliers, and track deliveries. Essential skills include experience in logistics and inventory control, as well as holding an FLT Counterbalance Licence. The position offers a pay rate of £13.50 per hour, weekly pay, and additional benefits such as pension contributions and paid annual leave.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Arrange incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and freight providers.
  • Liaise with suppliers to chase outstanding deliveries and confirm lead times.
  • Receive and check incoming goods against delivery documentation.
  • Work closely with operation, warehouse, and purchasing teams.
  • Track shipments and resolve delays or delivery issues.

Skills

Previous Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, inventory control
Experience in SAP or MRP/ERP Systems
Good communication skills when dealing with suppliers and carriers
Basic understanding of stock control
FLT Counterbalance Licence

Logistics Coordinator - Shifts are - Monday To Thursday 7.30-15.45 Friday 7.30-13.30

Duties include

  • Monitor and maintain Accurate Inventory Levels
