An NHS Foundation Trust in Camden Town seeks a specialist to provide clinical care for Uro-oncology patients, with a strong focus on prostate cancer. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in robotic prostatectomy and will engage in multidisciplinary team work to support patient care and service development. The job plan will include care for Uro-oncology patients, focused on patients with prostate cancer. Cross-site working across NCEL (North Central and East London) sites will be required to support delivery of services across the network. This may require undertaking clinics and / or theatre lists at other NCEL sites, such as at Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS trust or Barts health NHS trust. The post holder will have a specialist interest and clinical expertise in the management of prostate cancer and experience in performing robotic prostatectomy.
The post holder will ensure services are responsive to the needs of patients and their families, facilitate cross-team working where appropriate, and support MDT and divisional governance structures. The role involves collaboration with the Clinical Lead, Divisional Clinical Director (DCD) and management team to meet external standards, contract targets, and service development objectives.
