Overview

Occupational Health Nurse – Leeds (Locum). Dream Medical is working with a large healthcare provider in Leeds and is recruiting Occupational Health Nurses to administer the flu vaccine over the flu season. The programme covers locations across England, Scotland and Wales and runs from the end of September to around mid-December. We stock approximately 25,000 vaccines and work with around 400 different clients nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Administer flu vaccines, aiming for around 16 vaccines per hour.
• Work in a minimum 3-hour clinic session; travel between sites may be required with a travel allowance of 25p per mile.
• Ensure all vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents are available on site in a temperature-controlled box on arrival.

Requirements

• NMC registration and pin.
• Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience.
• Immunisations clinical update.
• Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
