A leading NHS Trust in Hampstead is seeking a locum consultant for its kidney cancer service. The position involves upper urinary tract surgeries, including robotic techniques. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month locum consultant position within the kidney cancer service at the Royal Free Hospital.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake open, laparoscopic and robotic upper urinary tract surgery for all aspects of both benign and cancer diseases. The Royal Free is also one of the few centres to perform in addition to routine upper tract robotic surgery, robotic caval thrombectomy, renal transplant and ureterolysis. The appointee will participate in the upper-tract consultant on-call rota.

The Specialist Centre for Kidney Cancer is located at the Royal Free Hospital and is also associated with University College London Partners (UCL Partners) with a good infrastructure for research and has multiple links to leading research departments, including the Sanger and the Crick Institute.
