A healthcare provider in Greater London is offering a fixed-term dermatology consultant position at Croydon University Hospital. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team, oversee patient clinics including urgent skin cancer and minor operative clinics, and contribute to both inpatient and outpatient services. An exciting fixed‑term dermatology consultant opportunity has become available in the Dermatology Department at Croydon University Hospital, part of the South West London group. The role is based in the dedicated dermatology department at the main hospital and may include off‑site working as appropriate.
You will be a valued member of the team, overseeing a varied patient mix and supported to develop a special‑interest clinic if desired. Current specialty clinics include Mohs surgery, joint complex surgical clinic, plastics, photodermatology, paediatric dermatology and systemic/biologic clinics led by nurses and pharmacists. The department is active in research, teaching and offers managerial opportunities.
The successful candidate will undertake a mix of general dermatology, urgent skin cancer clinics (USC), minor operative clinics, paediatric dermatology and ward work on a shared rota. Mohs surgeons are welcome to apply as the department has a on‑site Mohs lab. The post is available full‑time or part‑time / job share, with a permanent consultant position considered after the fixed‑term period.
Consultant Dermatologist on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology and proven good team‑working skills.

In addition to clinical duties, the post holder will work within the multi‑disciplinary team to further develop dermatology services, contribute to inpatient, outpatient and emergency work (ward/A&E referrals), and engage in teaching and training of junior staff. Strong links exist with local hospitals in the south‑west London network and teaching opportunities at St George's medical school and for medical student rotations.
