Live in or Live out Housekeeper in East Finchley, London

A warm, busy family with three young children (ages three months to five years) is looking for a live in or live out experienced Housekeeper for their five bedroom, three floor home in East Finchley. The family values a calm, well‑organised, and welcoming home, and they are looking for someone who can bring efficiency, attention to detail, and a friendly, approachable presence.

The household has a kosher kitchen, so familiarity with kosher practices is essential.

Duties to include:

• All general housekeeping duties
• Cleaning, including deep cleaning when required
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Daily meal preparation, including cooking in a kosher kitchen
• Light childcare duties, assisting with children’s routines and occasional babysitting
• Preparing the home for the family’s day‑to‑day life
• Running errands, ordering household supplies, and food shopping
• Occasional driving or travel support – a bonus, not required
• Maintaining household inventories and stock control

They are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and child‑friendly, able to work independently while anticipating the family’s needs, and comfortable supporting a busy household. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in private households with verifiable references, be calm, adaptable, and self‑managing, and bring a positive, friendly, and approachable presence to the home.

House: Five bedrooms across three floors, plus a loft, and office

Accommodation: Private ensuite bedroom

Hours & Accommodation:

• Live‑in: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (with a long break)
• Live‑out: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
