Job summary

A local assistance service in Knott End-On-Sea is seeking compassionate individuals to support a partially sighted lady. Job Overview

Due to main carer retiring soon there is an opportunity to support a kind, partially sighted lady living in Poulton le Fylde.

Responsibilities

• Personal care including dressing, showering and support with toileting. A ceiling hoist is available and full training will be given.
• Daily living support to include shopping, meal preparation and occasional cleaning plus support with managing medication.

Qualifications

• Patient, understanding and reliable.
• Must be happy to be around 2 friendly Pugs.
• Physically able to push a manual wheelchair.
• Driver aged 25 or over, with a cleaning licence essential and a car with insurance available for the purpose of taking out to appointments and accompanying to social and community activities.

Positions & Compensation

• There are 2 positions available.
• Hours: mornings and lunchtime plus alternate weekends.
• Rate of pay: £12.21 p.p.h plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
