Who We Are :
Our UCCs are fast paced settings with a well-rounded compliment of LNA’s, Nurse’s, Physicians and Advanced Care Providers. All three Urgent Care Centers are well established in their communities as a site focused on meeting the non-emergency needs of the community when Primary Care is not available. We pride ourselves on being able to care for very diverse populations, seeing patients from many cultures and across the entire age spectrum. Our nursing model is a team oriented and collaborative. All three locations have a limited menu of unit-based point of care Lab tests run on site for diagnosing common non-life-threatening illness. We also have on site radiology and CT scanning available if needed and Ultrasound is available 8a-4p Mon-Fri with after hours and weekend Ultrasound coverage available at River’s Edge.
About the Job :
As an LNA at Urgent Care, your primary responsibilities will include providing patient care in accordance with the nurse’s instructions, assisting in developing and implementing patient care plans, maintaining medical records documentation, transporting patients to other health care areas as needed and providing emotional support to patients. You’ll also be responsible for administering treatments and medications under the direction of a nurse, assessing vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure; delivering specimens to the laboratory; assisting with physical therapy treatment modalities; and updating patient charts to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
