Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of educational programmes aligned with early childhood development standards
  • Manage the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, behaviour, and needs
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and other required documentation
  • Organise activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organised, and welcoming for children and staff alike
