Job description

Teach Now are on the hunt for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to be placed in one of our most prestigious Nurseries. Based in the well-cultured area of Notting Hill, they are looking for a Nursery Assistant to start in September 2022 and be placed on a permanent role.

The nursery has a genuine belief that a child’s early development is pivotal to their next stage in education. They implement learning strategies into fun activities in order to promote cognitive associations with enjoyment. Each child is different and the staff have identified ways in which to manage various behaviours. Nurseries are a place of fun and friendship, and my client are renowned for both aspects of childhood.

The role is Nursery Nurse/Nursery Assistant. You will ensure the happiness and safety of the children, teach new ways for children to communicate, monitor and promote development, set up daily routines and attend meetings, liaise with parents and keep records.

The chosen candidate must be able to commit to the role as continuity is key.

Requirements
  • Confident in ensuring the child works towards their target by following their IEP
  • Able to adapt to all behavioural patterns
  • Dedicated, experienced and passionate about Early Years as a developmental stage
  • Creative and effective in their approach to teaching
  • Open to engage in further training in order to develop knowledge and understanding
  • DBS checked or happy to complete one
